Babies – Assessment of Primitive Reflexes & Sensory Motor system in babies, consideration for their neurodevelopment at these early stages and interventions.
Children – We’ve covered the development of the primitive reflexes and with delay through one hemisphere, here Darren will add higher level rehabilitation and bilateral integration exercises to activate both hemispheres simultaneously with multisensory processing. Case presentation will help review information from previous courses and encourage you to think through how you could implement these in your office.
Adults
– Rehab programs that are more demanding to help develop, repair or
reduce cognitive decline. These will be for specific cortical networks
unilaterally and bilaterally combining multisensory with cognitive
tasks. Darren will bring his brain rehab equipment and share how he uses
these in his clinic and encourage you to think how you would in yours
through another case. Cortical functions will be reviewed interactively.
